At 8:00 am you will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco. We will travel to Chinchero and then follow the dirt route until to reach the village of Tauca. At your arrival the families will welcome you to the community.

We will start the Vinicunca Mountain tour with the pick-up from your hotel in Cusco at 4:30 am and the bus ride to arrive at Llaqto (4,650 m / 14,389 ft.) is approx.3 hours long. After we arrived to the trail-head trail, our expert chef will prepare and serve us a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we will get some essential things for the day and start our trip by horse, following a clearly marked footpath, we will observe some alpacas and llamas on the hillsides; this area is home of indigenous Quechua people who are herders of those animals.
After 1 hour of horseback ride we will arrive close to the spectacular Rainbow Mountain Peru (5,100 m / 16,500 ft.), the last 30 minutes you need to walk to reach the lookout for the rainbow mountain, horses are not allowed to take you all the way to the top.

Day 1. – Cusco – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
In the morning of Machu Picchu day tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco 2 hours before the departure of your train and take you to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo. We will board a train of one of the two companies operating in Peru – Peru Rail or Inca Rail. We will begin the journey from Ollantaytambo to the town of Aguas Calientes. The views out your train windows will be absolutely spectacular as we travel beside the roaring Urubamba River and the towering mountains surrounding it!
In Aguas Calientes, our tour guide will be waiting for us and will accompany us to the bus station where we will board the bus to take us to the Royal citadel of Machu Picchu! After 40 minutes of drive with direction to the Sacred Valley, we will arrive to the fertile plain of Chinchero full of farming fields & beautiful landscapes. At Chinchero we will stop to see the locals weaving center.
